Sophie Bloor

Sophie Bloor is a RADA-trained actor, playwright, and voice over artist from Nottingham. She also studied at The London School of Method Acting and the BAFTA-winning Television Workshop.

Her screen credits include BBC1’s In The Dark as Young Helen, Charlotte (Lead) in The York Witches Society, Mandy in Personal Best, a BFI short directed by Lara Peake, and Declan’s Sister in the award-winning Irish short film Fairview Park.

On stage, Sophie portrayed Elizabeth in Gay Pride and No Prejudice at the Union Theatre and Doreen in The York Realist at New Venture Theatre.

Sophie’s debut play, Pearls, gained Arts Council funding and in addition to her screen and stage work, Sophie is an accomplished voice over artist. Her credits include Sky’s Landscapers, ITV’s Without Sin, Disney Plus’ Last Train to Christmas, BBC’s Sherwood, as well as campaigns for Barclay’s Life Skills, the NHS, Wagamama, Lidl, Spotify, and the National Trust.
